| CABINET The KETSUS multiple-reinforced casing also features a diagonal inner partition to prevent unnecessary acoustic reverberations. The fullrange speaker and woofer units have been adapted for separate casings ? closed and bass-reflex type. The cabinet structure is bulid from 20mm to 40mm panels with stronger internal bracings. Additionally different wall connecting system for front and rear panels has been developed to minimize the box resonances. In new KETSUS perfect damping process goes four ways (!) : wool blocks, bitumen mats, pyramid foam and low density material. We went from closed - in previous Ketsu - to bass-reflex mode in Ketsus. The general purpose was to give wider low end for the bass, better effciency and higher power, still keeping the acting speed. We have accomplished this with specially designed woofers and cabinet. |
